Buddha was born in India : Dalai Lama
Recently His Holiness Dalai Lama came under fire for saying Buddha was born in India. At an event held in India, he argued by saying:
“In ancient time, Nepal, India, China, Vietnam, Laos and some republics in Russia were the part of Mahabharata. So, I think Buddha was a great Indian master of Asia.”
United Nations (UN) has also officially recognized Lumbini as the birthplace of Lord Budhha. In addition, it has enlisted Lumbini as one of the World Heritage Sites as well. The 82 year old monk, Dalai Lama, is misleading people and very objectionable, says a statement published by Dharmodaya Sabha.
