Nepal Army exercises for Army Day

Nepal Army is exercising for the grand event of Army Day. The main event will be on the day of Mahasivaratri (Falgun 1, 2074). Nepal Army has been celebrating Mahasivaratri as Army Day since 1935.

In this grand event, it’ll showcase its military equipments, cavalry skills, personnels, vehicles, arms & ammunitions. Many cultural dances will also be performed in this auspicious day. Military paratroopers will jump from helicopters to perform a free-fall jump show.

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari will receive a grand salute on the special function. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli, Speaker of the Parliament Onsari Gharti Magar, ministers, chiefs of constitutional bodies and security agencies, high-ranking government officials and general public will attend this function.
